The votes have been tallied and the winner is…
6400 acres in southwest Texas with 5 miles of Pecos river frontage.
Terrain: Rugged hills and canyons in the highlands and low brush and river bed in the lowlands.
Species: Whitetail, Mule Deer, Aoudad, Boar, Dove, Quail, Mountain Lion, Coyote, Bobcats, Bass, catfish, sunfish, cichlids.
Lodging: One main bunk house with amenities, one small cabin, primitive camping on the river bed.
Cost to Reach Our Goal: $5.5 Million.
$4.9 MM to purchase the property
$300,000 in initial maintenance (roads, river beds, fences, signs, amenities)
$100,000 in wildlife management
$100,000 in equipment
$100,000 in ranch employees and clerical duties
This seems to be a large goal but is extremely doable with a communal attitude. We have 40,000,000 licensed outdoorsmen in the US. If 5% just gave $3.00 we could accomplish this in one month!

This place looks sweet! In the meantime, are there any plans to buy smaller tracts? I think we can build up to it with smaller parcels of land. Also, do you have any plans to add annual giving instead of paying monthly?
