Commence Project One

We've heard it all when it comes to reasons we are currently losing public land access and the anger it creates among the American Outdoorsmen. Through items such as the Pittman-Roberston Act and the Johnson-Dingell act, these lands are supposedly paid for and managed by the American Outdoorsmen by way of excise tax that we are willing to pay.

Unfortunately for us, anti-hunting groups, political agendas, and governmental sell offs of acreage, have us fighting for our way of life to just keep the acres we already supposedly have access to. Currently we have wonderful non profit organizations that battle daily in the trenches to help protect and preserve our public hunting lands but they can only do so much. They are the best defense the American Outdoorsmen could ask for but just like in sports, in order to win the game we must also play offense. Insert 4Progeny here!

Our goal with 4Progeny is to play offense in a defense driven world. Through the help of the American Outdoorsmen for as little as $3.oo per month, we will use crowd sourced funding to purchase privately held ranches and convert them into public hunting and fishing access to be held and managed by our organization. We, the American Outdoorsmen, will become the deed holders. We will become the private land owners. We will create our own public lands that will not be infringed upon by political agendas or anti-hunting establishments and the American Outdoorsmen will never again have to worry about losing these acres.

Project One is 6,400 acres with 5 miles of river frontage along the Pecos River in Texas. This ranch will allow for over 100 new hunting opportunities per year as well as access to one of the most scenic and prestigious fishing rivers in the U.S. From whitetail and mule deer to multiple bird species and other free ranging big game exotics, project one will be the catalyst to a massive swing in the pendulum of new public land acreage in the U.S.

We've heard all the complaints and we've listened to all the horror stories. It is now time to put our money where our passion is. If as little as 3% of the licensed American Outdoorsmen donated $3.oo, we could purchase this ranch today! This isn't about rich vs poor or anti vs pro, this is about coming together as an outdoor community and doing what's right by our heritage and our future generations. This is about turning the tide and becoming winners in a game that is designed for us to lose. This is 4 Progeny!
